One of the most exciting and rewarding trips you can do in Canada and Alaska is grizzly bear and/or polar bear viewing. We have a range of trips available offering spectacular grizzly bear viewing in Katmai National Park, Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary and Knight Inlet.
Experience one of the world’s great wildlife adventures on the shores of Hudson Bay in Manitoba. Each year in the autumn, scores of polar bears gather near Churchill, waiting for the bay to freeze over so that they can venture out onto the ice to hunt seals, their favourite prey. The world’s largest carnivore, these magnificent looking animals weigh up to 500 kg and stand up to an incredible 3 metres tall.
Highlights of our Grizzly & Polar Bear programs include:
• Grizzly bear viewing by boat or specially built platforms
• Search for Grizzlies by foot in Katmai
• Photograph & observe polar bears at close quarters
• Eat and sleep amongst polar bears on the Tundra Buggy
• Search for polar bears and other wildlife on foot
